The Presidents’ Round Table (PRT), a national association dedicated to bringing together African-American community college leaders for the purpose of ensuring community college leadership and educational opportunities or African Americans, has selected Management HQ to serve as its association management partner. As of July 1, 2016, Management HQ will provide full-service association management services to PRT.
“The Presidents’ Round Table is delighted to begin its work with Management HQ in managing our day to day relations with our members on a national level, the people and organizations that we serve, and other organizations that share our commitment to the growth and development of community college leaders and our students in the fulfillment of our mission,” said Charlene Newkirk, South Campus President of the Community College of Allegheny County, and President of PRT.
“We are confident that Management HQ will profoundly impact in a very positive way, all of our relationships, our membership recruitment and retention efforts, our financial position, and implementation of our strategic directions. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the firm,” added Newkirk.
Management HQ will provide to PRT full-service association management services including a central office location and administration, financial management, membership development and retention services, board leadership development, events management and marketing communications.
“The Presidents’ Round Table is excited to team up with Management HQ to support our organization’s plan to support African-American leaders at community and technical colleges across the country, grow and retain membership, and maintain a strong financial position,” says Dr. Walter Tobin, President of Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College and PRT Board Treasurer. “This will be a great partnership for our two organizations.”
“As a company, we at MHQ are deeply committed to equality in educational and leadership development opportunities, and in bridging the opportunity gap that exists for African American students and leaders,” says Dara Rudick, Management HQ CEO. “The Presidents’ Round Table’s vital work addresses and removes barriers in the delivery of educational services to African American students in community college education, and promotes the professional development and advancement of African American CEOs in community colleges. We are honored that PRT has selected us to support this essential work.”
