The team at MHQ is dedicated to work towards achieving the company’s vision of “a thriving, vibrant community.” As part of that work, each year since MHQ’s inception, MHQ has hired a StepUp intern. This summer, the MHQ team was fortunate to work alongside recent high-school graduate, Mai Lor, a StepUp summer intern.
“Mai was an essential team member this summer,” said Mackenzie Kelley, MHQ Events Manager. “She supported the work of MHQ and our clients by managing projects including conference and webinar recordings, continuing education certificates, creating images for online advertising, and drafting newsletters and email announcements.”
MHQ CEO, Dara Rudick, currently serves on the board of directors for Achieve Minneapolis, where she serves on the governance committee which she formerly co-chaired.
“Since our company’s inception, we have been committed to supporting Minneapolis youth through our work with Achieve Minneapolis,” said Dara Rudick, MHQ CEO. “This incredible program of Achieve Minneapolis provides us with a great chance to hire amazing individuals. We have a chance to impact their careers, and we benefit so greatly from their work and presence at MHQ.”
