Congratulations to Jim Murphy, MHQ managing director and executive director, on 18 years of service to the Fairport-Perinton Chemical Prevention Advisory Council. Jim, who spent 15 years as co-chair of the organization, was recognized for his enduring commitment and volunteer service to at his last meeting before relocating to Virginia. for completing my 18th year of volunteer service, 15 of which were as co-chair.
The Fairport-Perinton Chemical Prevention Advisory Council (CPAC) is a working partnership among families, schools, students, community groups, government agencies, and law enforcement. The organization strives to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles while addressing issues surrounding alcohol and other drug use/abuse in the schools and community. CPAC was established in 1988 through a grant from the Drug Free Schools and Community Act.
