My Dog Is My Home is a national nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness and their companion animals. MHQ is proud to select My Dog Is My Home as our 2025 community partner for the second year in a row.
This organization is having a powerful impact and providing invaluable support to keep people and their pets together. In addition to supporting the organization by donating a percentage of MHQ’s revenue in honor of our clients, we will share information about the organization each month and provide in-kind consulting services.
Here are some of their recent initiatives that you can be a part of:

Policy Corner: Please Join Our Coalition!
A pair of bills in New York State have the power to dramatically change lives for the better. But My Dog Is My Home needs your support! NYS bills S673/A1693 would establish a grant program for housing people experiencing homelessness and survivors of domestic violence with their pets. If you live in New York State, please join our coalition to help these bills become law. Email christine@mydogismyhome.org to join the effort.
