The MHQ staff team serves as association leaders and volunteers as a way to give back to the community. This gives us an in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the volunteers we serve.
This year, several of the MHQ staff will be volunteering with AchieveMpls, a nonprofit organization that supports public education and preparing students for successful life after high school. The MHQ team will be sharing their career journey at AchieveMpls Career Fairs to support Minneapolis public high school students.
“I enjoy volunteering, especially with youth in the community. It is a pleasure to watch them grow and make the journey to adulthood. Participating in that journey is extremely rewarding and inspiring.” says Tammy Schoenberg, MHQ Account Coordinator.
