The National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA), one of Management HQ’s (MHQ) clients, hosted its Annual Convention in Cleveland, OH, earlier this month – which marked the first time being back in-person after two years of virtual Conventions.
NFPA’s Annual Convention and Policy Meeting provides attendees an opportunity to attend educational sessions, network with fellow paralegals from across the country, and collaborate, discuss, and vote to enact policy during the Policy Meeting.
“The staff at MHQ are very knowledgeable in their areas of expertise and without that behind us we would not have had as successful of an event as we did,” said NFPA President Josie A. Estes. “NFPA is led by volunteers. The staff at MHQ pitched in and assisted where needed and brought some very creative ideas to the table.”
MHQ worked closely with NFPA’s volunteer leaders and the local host association on the management and implementation of this year’s event which included securing speakers and continuing education certifications, reserving social event venues and entertainment, and leading networking events.
“NFPA’s Annual Convention in Cleveland was a resounding success,” said Mike Swan, NFPA’s Interim Executive Director. “Feedback from attendees and NFPA’s Board of Directors indicate that the event went very smoothly; something we take pride in since this was NFPA’s first in-person Convention since 2019 and MHQ’s first ever in-person Convention since working with NFPA.”

NFPA’s 2023 Annual Convention and Policy Meeting will be held in Washington, D.C., next October.
