For the sixth consecutive year, the MHQ team enjoyed the addition of a Step Up summer intern. Samantha Lowe is a junior at Washburn High School in Minneapolis. She helped our team with several technology projects, and from her time at MHQ, is inspired to learn more about careers in the technology sector.
During her time with MHQ, Samantha worked on supporting client newsletters, developing online guides for upcoming conferences and researching opportunities for the MHQ team to serve our communities.
Step Up is the largest and longest-running youth employment program of its kind in our region, and connects over 1,400 Minneapolis youth each year with work readiness training and paid internships that build great careers. Learn more at https://www.achievempls.org/stepup.
