Management HQ (MHQ) is pleased to introduce our new account and membership coordinator, Michael Mensinga. Michael brings several years of account management experience to his role of account and membership coordinator. In his role Michael serves clients through stellar, strategic account management and drives membership development and retention for client associations. He is also focused on business development for MHQ working not only to source and attract new clients but also to strengthen relationships with existing partners.
Much of Michael’s career has been in talent acquisition and recruiting, partnering with employers to design and successfully implement recruiting strategies for employers recruiting candidates from the University of Minnesota, specifically from graduate level business programs. He has parlayed his professional experience to give back to the community participating in job readiness education, resumé and professional correspondence assistance, and dress for success campaigns.
Michael holds a bachelor of arts in political science and French studies from the University of Minnesota as well as a master of business administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He spent time during his undergraduate studies traveling France examining how war shapes collective memory and culture.
In his spare time, Michael can often be found in the kitchen trying new recipes or preparing well-known comfort dishes to share with friends and family. He has a passion for French language and culture and tries to stay up to date with current events and language ability by visiting French news sites, reading French blogs and articles, and chatting with friends in the US and France. His absolute favorite place to be is on a boat.
