On March 23 – 26, the MHQ team, led by NARST Executive Director Mackenzie Kelley, delivered an incredible 1240-person Annual Conference for the National Association for Research in Science Teaching (NARST), In Praise of Science Teachers: Essential Partners in Researching, Reframing, and Reforming Science Learning.
The event was held in National Harbor, Maryland, and offered an optional an all-virtual day. MHQ’s Amy Sellheim led event management, alongside Lynn Noble and Mike Swan.
“Although this is a time of uncertainty for many of our members, the conference was a positive and supportive event,” said Dr. Jennifer Adams, NARST President.
“Dr. Shaw’s global panel of teachers and the ‘Research Nation’ President’s reception helped to set a celebratory tone that carried throughout the event.”
