It’s no surprise that we live in a world running at breakneck speed. We feel it, we talk about it, and we struggle to keep up.
At this speed, how do we decide what are our most important priorities?
I wish I could share an easy answer. Heck, I wish I HAD an easy answer! What I can share is that when I first launched MHQ almost a decade ago I started with our values. To me, those would be most important on our journey ahead.
The company began on a hope and a few important dreams: to create an inclusive, diverse, equitable company in an industry that wasn’t; to lead guided by a strong set of values; and to offer growth and opportunities to team members and clients who share those values.
Good news: Almost a decade later, our team is so proud to live those values every day. We check in each week about how we’re living our values, we make really tough decisions by centering those values, and we have most recently refreshed how we share those values.
We recently held a full-team strategy session led by the brilliant Neil Chudgar of Chudgar Consulting, and the amazing Victor Jones of Victor Jones Consulting.
