The National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA) hosted its 2026 Annual Convention September 24-27 in Bloomington, Minnesota.
The MHQ on-site staff consisted of Associate Executive Director Rachel Gaul, Events Manager Amy Sellheim, On-Site Event Coordinator Gloria Teigland, and Client Services Coordinator Will Shaughnessy.
“MHQ was proud to support the 2026 NFPA Annual Convention here in our home state of Minnesota. There’s something special about seeing the NFPA community come together to reconnect, share ideas, learn from one another, and have a little fun along the way,” said Gaul.

Meagher, also from Minnesota, echoed the excitement of having Convention take place here in the North Star State, with two Minnesota-based keynote speakers highlighting a terrific lineup of expert presentations.
“It was such a treat to have this year’s NFPA Annual Convention right here in my home state of Minnesota! I was especially delighted to have two local leaders as keynote speakers: Kevin Rhodes, Chief Legal Affairs Officer at 3M Company, and Associate Justice Thissen,” said Meagher. “Both were incredibly engaging and sparked some wonderful conversations. The entire event was fantastic! A heartfelt thank-you to the convention committee, and especially to Amy Sellheim, for all the hard work and magic behind the scenes that made the event so special.”
The event brought together 140+ paralegal professionals, students, and legal industry partners from across the country. This year’s Convention theme, “Resilience: Empowering Paralegals Nationwide,” celebrated the strength, adaptability, and unwavering commitment that define today’s paralegals.

With 30+ incredible speakers, inspiring keynote presentations, unforgettable learning experiences, and a hotel full of people who are passionate about our profession, Convention is so much more than an event,” said NFPA President Lori Wagner, RP, IRP. “It’s an experience.
