The MHQ team, led by NAGC Executive Director Mike Swan, delivered a terrific 300-person Communications School for the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC).
Communications School took place May 11-13, with the theme of “Innovation Oasis: Elevating Government Communication through Evolving Technologies, Strategic Metrics and Building Trust.” Comms School highlighted NAGC’s focus on harnessing emerging technologies to deliver more transparent, responsive, and inclusive messaging while reinforcing the foundational role of trust in public communications.
“The MHQ team helps ensure our Communications School is successful year after year. They manage many of the behind-the-scenes details that keep everything running smoothly and create a positive experience for our attendees from start to finish, said outgoing NAGC President Leslie Gervasio. “Their support allows our volunteer leadership to focus on the bigger picture, knowing the day-to-day operations are in trusted hands.”

The event took place at the Omni Ranchos Las Palmas in Greater Palm Springs, CA, and featured a robust lineup of keynote speakers, education breakout sessions, the Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Awards, and much more.
On-site conference logistics were led by MHQ Events Manager Amy Sellheim, alongside team member, Vince Lungaro.
